About C2C
Why buy from Collector 2 Collector?
I got my first autographs in the mid 1960’s as a small child, when I met Emmett Kelly Jr. (the Famous Clown), oh how that signed photo was my pride and joy. Then I met Ham Fisher, who drew my favorite comic strip characters at the time for me and signed them, Joe Palooka and his sister Joanne. Soon thereafter, I sought autographs from my favorite baseball players (the 1969 Mets). A few years later, I met Vanna White, Heather Locklear, and others.
But I also liked collecting other memorabilia, such as posters, music, historical, sports, Hollywood, etc., whatever struck my fancy. Over time, I had relationships with some people in key positions, such as an NBA locker room, a gate guard at a movie lot in Burbank, California, a restaurant owner in Malibu that was frequented by celebrities, a WWII vet who was on a mailing list and celebrities sent him stuff frequently, etc.
I also have a knack for ‘finding’ things along the way, be it estate sales, auctions, pulling rare trading cards from a box, etc. Anything I list on here, I either have COA’s for, I personally know the source, I bought from reputable auction houses, attended signings & events, or have done extensive research and inspections to assure the validity of any item listed.
I don’t treat these items a bunch of widget products like most collectible sellers, I’m a graphic artist and apparel printer by trade, this is my passion. So the items I obtain, then either keep, sell or trade, are personal for their uniqueness, their historical value, and having a bond to that player, team, actor, politician, musician, etc.
